At Made Joyful, we love bringing your unique vision to life! Because each custom piece involves a personalized creative process, we want to be transparent about how we handle design requests and fees so that your final project is exactly what you imagined.

Understanding Our Design Process

We want you to love the final result. Whether you are modifying an existing design or creating something brand-new, our team is dedicated to getting the details just right. We provide up to 3 virtual proofs for your review before we begin crafting your piece.

Lead Times and Rush Orders

To give your project the attention it deserves, we generally require 5 days of notice for custom orders. Need it sooner? Reach out to us! We do our best to accommodate rush requests depending on our schedule and workload.

Booking and Workshop Policy

Whether you are hosting a private party or joining us for a public pop-up, our goal is to provide a structured, high-energy, and joyful experience. We handle the setup, supplies, and cleanup, allowing you to focus on connection and creativity.

Accessibility and Accommodations

We are committed to making our workshops accessible to all makers. If you have specific needs or require accommodations to enjoy our creative space, please reach out so we can ensure you have a joyful and comfortable experience.

Our Policy at a Glance

Private Home & Venue Parties

We bring the party to you! Made Joyful provides all table coverings, aprons, tools, and paint supplies, and we handle the cleanup. The host is responsible for providing the physical space, tables, and chairs. If you need additional tables and chairs, please let us know. 

• Booking: A $50 non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve your date. This fee secures your spot, sets up your digital guest link, and covers administrative preparation.

• Minimum Spend: Instead of a headcount, we require a $400 total minimum spend in guest registrations. If your group does not meet this total by the event deadline, the host is responsible for the balance, or the event can be converted to a DIY Kit Drop-off.

• Rescheduling: We understand life happens! Please provide at least 2 weeks’ notice if you need to reschedule. We are happy to accommodate one date change with advance notice.

• Travel: Our standard spend includes travel within a 30-mile radius of Brentwood, TN. Additional mileage fees apply for events outside this radius.

Public Venue Events

Our "Craft & Sip" partnerships with local businesses rely on independent ticket sales.

• Minimum Attendance: Public workshops require a minimum of 10 registered attendees to run.

• Evaluation: We use a 3-day evaluation window. If the 10-ticket minimum is not met 3 days prior, the event will be canceled. All ticket holders will be issued a 100% refund, credit for a future workshop or given the option to receive their project as a Take & Make DIY kit.

Because each piece we create is a labor of love, designed and prepared specifically for you, we want to be transparent about how we handle returns and exchanges. Our policies are designed to protect the resources of our small business while ensuring you have a joyful and high-quality experience.

Custom and Personalized Creations

Every custom project is designed, cut, and hand-prepared specifically for your home. Because these items are uniquely yours, all custom and personalized orders are final sale. We are unable to offer returns or exchanges on these items once they have been prepared.

Ready-Made Items

For our non-custom, off-the-shelf items, we want you to love what you take home. If you change your mind, we are happy to offer an exchange or store credit within 5 days of purchase. To be eligible, the item must be returned in its original, unused condition.

If Something Isn’t Quite Right

We strive for perfection, but we are also human. If your order arrives damaged or if we have made an error in your personalization, please reach out to us within 7 days of receiving your item.

We will work quickly to provide a replacement or a suitable solution to ensure you are happy with your Makery experience.

Workshop Registrations

Our workshops are community-driven experiences where materials are prepared in advance for each guest. Because of this preparation, workshop registrations are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled session:

• Your project will be packaged as a Take & Make kit for you to complete at home.
